Sleeps 4 (plus infant in cot)

The Annex is popular with families and couples who want a comfortable and well equipped cottage. There is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, comfortably sleeping 4. The second bedroom can be set up as two single beds or as a zip-link superking bed.

The Annex is a charming two-storey cottage attached to the main farmhouse — a stay here means sleeping in part of North Devon’s history. The building is thought to be around 400 years old, and we’re carefully restoring its original stonework using traditional lime pointing, just as it would have been done centuries ago.

Inside, you’ll find a welcoming open-plan kitchen and dining area with everything you need for family meals, including a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and separate freezer. The living room has two comfy sofas, a TV with Roku stick, and a small desk for anyone needing to check in with work — all supported by fast Starlink Wi-Fi.

Upstairs there’s a spacious double bedroom and a second bedroom with zip-link beds that can be set up as a twin or super king, plus a family bathroom with shower over the bath. There’s space for a travel cot in the main bedroom if needed.

Beds are freshly made for your arrival, bath/hand towels are provided, and you’ll have free parking for one car.
