The Roundhouse is the perfect base whether you want to explore all North Devon has to offer or just relax on our beautiful site. You can swim in our heated outdoor pool, meet the animals or just find a quiet corner in the garden to enjoy a glass of wine or a book.
The cottage is comfortable and well equipped. You can snuggle up and watch a bit of TV or enjoy a nice meal at the lovely solid beech breakfast bar.
This is a single level, ground floor property with a private entrance. It is one of 5 cottages on our site and is attached to the Grain Store and Threshing Barn.
The private entrance takes you straight into the open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The living room is a good size with smart TV and comfortable leather sofa and chair. The living and kitchen areas are separated by the solid beech breakfast bar, making it practical to chat while one of you cooks or sit together while you enjoy a meal.
The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave and electric cooker (grill, main oven and hob). The cupboards are well equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses and pans.
The spacious bedroom with double bed has views onto the gardens. There is a shower room with shower, toilet and sink.
The cottage has a small utility cupboard which houses a washer/dryer solely for use by guests in the Roundhouse.
Linen for the double bed is included and will be freshly made up for your arrival. Towels are not included but during the booking process you can opt to hire them from us for an additional fee.
Guests booking the Roundhouse can park 1 car for free in our shared car parking area.
In addition to private use of the Roundhouse guests also have shared access to a number of facilities on site:
- Free high speed wi-fi (Starlink)
- Heated outdoor swimming pool: this is available for guests to use from the May half-term until early September.
- Games room with table football and table tennis
- Gardens - all guests have shared access to the approximately 2 acres of gardens surrounding the cottages. There are picnic benches and garden chairs available so guests can eat or relax around the site.
- Animal feeding sessions
- A starter pack of x2 tea-towels, oven gloves, x2 bin bags, a kitchen roll, washing up liquid, washing up sponge, x2 toilet rolls, cleaning products for kitchen and bathroom, hand soap
We are not able to accept dogs in the Roundhouse. If you would like to bring your pet on holiday with you then the Threshing Barn could be the perfect option as this is our only dog-friendly cottage.
Changeover days are normally flexible except in some peak weeks when Saturday is the standard changeover day. If this doesn't fit with your plans please feel free to contact us and we will see if we can assist with an alternate arrangement.
